The Future
I believe that in the future we will all live in peace after
the great nuclear war of the year 3000.People will be able to travel to other
planets and inhabit them. We will have received messages from life in other
galaxies. The planet however will be in decay in certain war ravaged places and
we will be controlled under 3 major governments. All of Europe Africa and
Middle East by the Aura National, Asia by the United Serving Nations and, the
Americas by The American Association. These three governments will control the
entire world. Peace will be maintained through endorphin injections required
starting at the age of 10. People will be mathematically matched with their
most eligible mate and lived happily. There will be free health care and people
will have wristwatches issued by the IDT that will allow for instantaneous
teleportation’s to any of the confederations and planet boarders by voice
command. We will all be implanted with a brain tracker that will be monitored
to prevent crimes and rebellion against peace. There will be much happiness
until the forced transport to another planet by the destruction of our sun.

One time I laughed really really hard
It was a long time ago I was probably five of six and I remember doing something
bad I don’t exactly remember what but it was bad. I remember not wanting to
tell my mom because I new what awaited ne was a spanking. It was mid afternoon
when I finally told her and again I don’t remember what it was but my mom got
really mad. She was red with anger and I knew what was coming however before
she could I ran. I jumped over sofas the coffee table over my moms ironing
board and made my way to the bedroom with my mom hot on my heels. I mad it to
the bed and grabbed two pillows my mom was seething. However, I don’t know what
it was whether it was me sitting with one pillow on my butt and other held up
like a shield that got her, but she broke out laughing and so did I . I had
never laughed so hard in my life.

Modern Times (Review)
Modern Times was silent film by Charlie Chaplin depicting
the era of depression in the world along with that of the industry boom. In the
movie we are presented with a futuristic industry with machines and technology
not available yet but that are there to make the workers miserable. However, Chaplin
changes the setting to a present view to show that either way in the future or
in the present people are still miserable. The unemployment during the great
depression is shown in this film as something regularly seen. Chaplin depicts
himself and the Gamin as regular people trying to make due with what they have during
these times of trouble. As a silent film Chaplin was showing a movie behind on
the times something ironically contrasting with its title. The talkie
revolution had since happened. However, he never strayed from the idea that a
picture is worth a thousand words. He clearly showed that the troubles the
world was facing and that he himself was facing with the police in his real
life weren’t something out of the ordinary. He wanted them to take notice in
every language out there. What better way than with a silent movie. Modern
times depicted the life of many Americans during this era, people who during
desperate times fought to survive. His last message being that one must smile
and never give up because things will work out…eventually
